Job Summary: 

As a Social Media Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and implement effective social media strategies to promote our brand, engage with our audience, and drive online growth. You will be responsible for managing multiple social media platforms, creating compelling content, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and online presence.
  2. Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including text posts, images, videos, and other forms of media.
  3. Manage and execute email marketing campaigns
  4. Monitor and manage social media accounts, including scheduling and publishing posts, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with the audience in a timely manner.
  5. Implement social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic, increase reach, and achieve marketing objectives.
  6. Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and recommend new strategies and tactics to optimize social media presence.
  7. Analyze social media data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and provide insights for future optimization.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, PR, and design, to ensure consistency in brand messaging and campaigns across all channels.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging social media platforms, and best practices to effectively leverage new opportunities.
  10. Manage social media budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports on the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  11. Stay up to date with legal and regulatory requirements related to social media marketing, ensuring compliance in all activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and tracking tools to measure the success of campaigns.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and software to schedule posts, monitor conversations, and analyze data (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising platforms and experience in running effective social media ad campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and interact effectively with the online community.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for design to create visually appealing social media content.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field (preferred).

Location

Initially working from home but with time start to work from HQ in Berkhamsted with the CEO.
